Gardner Middle School is at 45125 Via Del Coronado in Temecula Attorney. The event is part of the second annual Global Cardboard Challenge and will include an art gallery of cardboard relief sculptures and a cardboard costume challenge. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the foundation that supports special needs students at Gardner. The Global Cardboard Challenge was inspired by the short lm, Caines Arcade, and has become a worldwide celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. In the month of September, kids are challenged to create and build out of cardboard and recycled materials. Our event is a global day of play and were working to build a positive, community-based school at GMS with innovative thinkers, passionate and compassionate people who envision themselves as contributions to their world, said Robyn MacNair, art teacher. The class is based on the 4 Cs of Common Core and 21st century learning skills: collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity.
