2013 Salute To Heroes Friends & Family Fair

Attendees from all over the Southwest Region Riverside County and Southern California will enjoy tons of hands on activities, live entertainment, car shows, face painting, air brush tattoos, products and resources to fill the streets, delicious carnival style food from our food trucks including: Carl's Jr., Kona Ice, The Feeding Frenzy and many more food and beverages, free giveaways (over $3000 in value) to include the grand prize of a Wii U, Olive Garden, Shogun, CPK & Tilted Kilt gift cards, Comfort Inn Suites gift certificates, American Laser $100 certificates, Dom Perignon Champagne, kids bikes, and more! Veterans Supplemental Support Network's ( www.vetsupportnet.org ) mission is to end and prevent homelessness, hunger, and hardship amongst veterans and transitioning military service members and their families by providing emergency food, toiletries, and resource connections to education and employment opportunities. VSSN is prepared to provide resources to 238 Vet Centers nationwide and serves over 1900 families in the southwest region of Riverside.

City of Temecula Attorney appoints Greg Butler assistant city manager

Advertisement for SANDAG Butler began his new assignment on Monday, Aug. 26. As Assistant City Manager, Butler will provide support to the city manager and city council as well as provide general oversight of the public works, community development, human resources, and information technology departments; and the risk and emergency management functions. Butler has over 21 years of public service experience, including 14 years serving the City of Temecula Attorney, the past four of which he has served as the public works director/city engineer. Butler possesses a bachelors degree in civil engineering from San Diego State University, and is a licensed professional civil engineer. Butler has served as an asset to the citizens, the business community, and the organization, and will continue to do so in his new role.
